My Own Coaching Transformation,
The Miracle of Commitment

For more than a year now, I have been engaged in an intense learning process around creating my life and business rather than reacting to it.

I have been working with my coach, Jeff, to move through my many forms of resistance in order to keep my commitments and do what I say I am going to do.

Let me tell you, I had no idea how many tricks I had up my sleeve to keep me from allowing my Light to shine more fully!

As an experiential learner, I have at the same time been supporting my courageous clients in moving though their tricky forms of resistance, even when I could barely catch a glimpse of my own!  It hasn't always been pretty, but we've all been making some amazing progress.

I even wrote an entire book on this subject to help get it in my bones. The book is going into layout this week!

As the book goes into layout, I have been laid out! Yesterday, after a dark night, I had a breakthrough.

When we love ourselves deeply and unconditionally, we naturally love others deeply and unconditionally.  When we treat our own growth areas with kindness and compassion, we have the capacity to treat the growth areas in others with kindness and compassion.  If we are impatient, harsh and critical with ourselves, we can only be impatient, harsh and critical with others.  Our belief in ourselves and our own internal conversation with ourselves is one of the most crucial factors in whether or not we sign up coaching clients.
