Conscious Choice: In This Sacred Moment

As I sat down to write this piece, I remembered I wanted to take a picture of the foot of snow outside my office window to share with you.

My camera had other ideas.  It gave me the simple message: "Recharge battery."

That is my gift to us today on this sacred day of winter solstice (in our northern hemisphere).  I am going to now step away from my computer to sip a cup of tea and watch the snow fall.  And, I invite you to take a moment now to consider how you might like to take a few precious moments on this darkest day of the year to hibernate a bit and recharge your batteries.

Thank you, Canon, for the timely reminder . . .

To your sacred winter solstice!

Beautiful, Ann! Shoveling my driveway this morning, before 9am, such soft and quiet snow still falling ... so very precious.

Glad to hear from you Ann!

I have thought about you and the enormous change that you have experienced in your life.

I take it that you are pretty independent and that requires adjustment for you.

I am married and every day (almost) requires fortitude as my husband is a take charge guy.

To his credit he is a wonderful person, but oh so challenging sometimes.

Surely this new relationnship will be a blessing for both of you.

Have a great weekend,

Myra
